Supporters Direct Scotland are a small organisation, but are connected to like-minded partners elsewhere in Scotland and beyond.
Our members represent the interests of supporters in the domestic game, whereas our friends at the Association of Tartan Army Clubs act on behalf of fans of the Scottish national team, both home and away. ATAC directly represents over 1500 members of affiliated Tartan Army clubs throughout Scotland and beyond.
Colours Of Our Scarves, a Scottish Government funded project previously run by Supporters Direct Scotland, is now part of the Fair Play Foundation charity which was founded in 2018. The project primarily focuses upon tackling hate behaviours and discriminatory attitudes within Scottish sport, and is a central part of the Fair Play Foundation’s work to advance health, education and equality within Scottish society through sport, exercise and leisure activities.
Our former colleagues Supporters Direct are now part of the Football Supporters Association – the national, democratic, representative body for football supporters in England and Wales. Find more about their work at thefsa.org.uk
On the continent, we are proud members of Supporters Direct Europe and Football Supporters Europe. These two organisations work collaboratively to ensure fans’ voices are heard within the structures of the game. SD Europe focuses on promoting supporters’ involvement in the running of their football clubs, in national governing bodies and in the sustainable development of the game; FSE acts upon issues in modern football such as ticketing, fan culture, discrimination and policing in football.
