SD Scotland Attend Erasmus+ Good Governance in Football Workshop in Germany

SD Scotland this weekend (17th & 18th of June) attended the SD Europe Erasmus workshop ‘Good Governance in Football’ which focused on volunteering and member engagement.

The session was held at the home of member owned Schalke 04 who are one of the largest member owned clubs in the world with over 140,000 members.

During the weekend, SD Scotland were able to hear stories from a range of SD Europe members including representatives of equivalent organisations from Spain, Italy, Bosnia, England, Ireland, Sweden and of course, Germany.

Being a part of these sessions offers invaluable opportunities for us to hear from organisations who have undertaken significant and sometimes inspiring activities to ensure supporters are represented within their respective clubs, leagues and associations and we hope that by participating in the sessions we can transfer instances of best practice to our members and activities within Scotland. We’d like to thank SD Europe for organising the event.
