Club Ownership

Using publicly available information, sourced primarily from Companies House, we document the ownership structure of each club in the SPFL, SWPL, Highland League and Lowland League. In the SD Scotland Index we list major shareholders (usually those holding more than 5% of a club’s shares) and highlight any reported changes to ownership that have not yet been formally lodged with Companies House.

Supporters Direct Scotland is a a democratic Community Benefit Society, founded on cooperative principles. We have been active in Scotland since 2002 where we’ve helped establish over 30 Supporters Trusts and groups. Eighteen clubs within tiers 1-5 of the men’s football pyramid are either supporter owned, or have a significant degree of supporter shareholding.
