A Tribute to Margaret Ross

SD Scotland were incredibly saddened to hear of the passing of Margaret Ross, Chair of our members the Pars Supporters Trust.

Margaret was one of the driving forces behind the establishment of the Pars Supporters Trust in 2004 and after the acquisition of Dunfermline FC by Pars United in 2013, Margaret took up the Pars Supporters Trust’s seat on the Board of DAFC.

Margaret was also incredibly supportive of the work of SD Scotland and its staff, going back to the Trust’s establishment in 2004. We worked with Margaret not only to set up the Trust, but also with the Buy the Pars campaign and latterly had worked with Margaret on the Supporter Liaison Officer role at the club.

We know Margaret gave so much to both the club and Trust and she will be sorely missed by the Supporters Trusts and SD in Scotland.
