Supporter Liaison Officer Development Day Round Up

Tuesday the 31st of October saw us welcome Supporter Liaison Officers from 13 SPFL clubs along with a range of stakeholders including Scottish FA, Scottish Government and Police Scotland representatives for our third Development Day of 2017.

Our SLO Development Days are designed to help clubs and those in the role of Supporter Liaison Officer network, hear from a range of relevant speakers and share best practice.

We were delighted to welcome a excellent range of speakers to our event on Tuesday including Greig Mailer of the Scottish FA who delivered a presentation on the value of communication, Sirri Topping from Leaps Scotland who presented on their Football vs Homophobia project, Police Scotland who outlined their ‘Pitchin’ In’ project, JP Taylor of Celtic who discussed the clubs’ fans who were recently awarded ‘Best Fans in the World’ award and the Parkhead Housing Association who screened their ‘Don’t Be Mean, Keep It Clean’ campaign video (available to view here).

SLOs had opportunities to review the first draft of our new SLO Handbook and network throughout the day.
